Being an employer at such a time as this calls for wisdom in how you will deal with your employees. You may be looking at the big picture on how the business will run in the long run, but your employees may be worrying about what their families will eat in the evening. Nevertheless, that does not mean that you should brush aside their concerns.
Instead of ignoring them, you should explain to them why they may be getting half a salary or none at all at the end of the end of this month. Let them see what you are seeing in the future. If the business has been partially open, it’s not making the same amount of money as it did before. While some of your employees may understand, others may not be on the same page as you. Try not to react like them. Be firm in your views as you state your case because you carry the vision of the company.
