The Royal family took to social media this morning sending the Duchess of Sussex happy birthday messages as she turns 39 years old in Los Angeles.
The Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sent public well wishes to the Duchess of Sussex with the official Royal Family Instagram account posting a photograph of the Queen, 94, and Meghan Markle on their first joint royal engagement two years ago with a caption,
‘Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very happy birthday!’
The message was followed shortly by posts from Kate and William’s Kensington Palace account and the Clarence House account which is ran by the household staff of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. This coming days before the release of a bombshell biography ‘Finding Freedom’, which claims to lay bare a rift between the Sussexes and the Firm.
The book is said to be published on August 11.
Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals on March 31 and after a short stay in Canada, they relocated to Los Angeles where Meghan is from and where her mother Doria Ragland currently lives.
