During this season, many weddings have been postponed in keeping up with the social distancing rules. Kenyans love big weddings, thus the idea of having a handful of people does not sit very well with them. It is also understandable that some people had already paid service providers and sent out invitations. Thus having a delay is better than canceling everything.
The most important thing during this season is to be patient. You cannot control what is happening outside but you can control your reaction to it. Start by communicating the delay to everyone involved. Since the service providers also need the money, the best solution for them would be to wait rather than to refund the money they had already received. Laying things out as they are will make things easier after Covid 19.
